Do I need to create an account?
Nope! No sign-up required for voters. Just click the link and vote. Poll creators don't need accounts either (for now).
How long do polls last?
You choose when creating the poll: 5 minutes, 15 minutes, 1 hour, or end of day. Once time's up, voting locks automatically.
Can people vote multiple times?
By default, no. We use browser storage to prevent duplicate votes. However, determined users can vote again by clearing their browser data or using incognito mode. This is fine for casual group decisions.
Can I see who voted for what?
No. All votes are anonymous. We only track vote counts, not individual identities.
What happens when a poll ends?
Voting locks automatically and the winner is displayed clearly. If there's a tie, we show all tied options. The poll and all votes are automatically deleted 24 hours after expiry.
Can I edit a poll after creating it?
Not yet. Once created, polls are locked. This keeps things simple and prevents confusion.
How many options can I add?
Between 2 and 4 options. We keep it limited to maintain fast, focused decision-making.
Can I hide results until the poll ends?
Yes! There's a checkbox when creating the poll. This prevents bandwagon voting.
Does it work on mobile?
Absolutely. Quick Poll is mobile-first. It works great in WhatsApp, iMessage, and any mobile browser.
Is it free?
Yes, completely free to use.
How do you make money?
We don't (yet). This is a passion project. If it grows, we might add premium features later.
Can I delete a poll?
Polls automatically delete themselves 24 hours after they expire. Manual deletion isn't available yet, but it's not needed since polls clean up automatically.
What if someone spams votes?
We have basic prevention (browser storage), but it's not foolproof. For casual group decisions, it works fine. We're not designed for high-stakes voting.
How long do you keep my data?
Polls and votes are automatically deleted 24 hours after the poll expires. We don't keep old data around.
Do you sell my data?
Never. We don't collect personal information. Votes are anonymous. We don't track you.
